of Commons, concerning the Bill to prevent malicious
maiming and wounding.

L. Lovelace Privilege;--Clements released.
Whereas Richard Clements, being in the Custody of
the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for attaching
the Goods of the Lord Lovelace, a Peer of this Realm,
sitting the Parliament, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, was this Day brought to the Bar, where, by
his humble Petition, he acknowledged his Offence both
against this House and the Lord Lovelace, as also his
Sorrow for the same; and received the Reprehension of
this House for his said Offence:
It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Richard
Clements be, and is hereby, discharged from any further
Restraint for his said Offence, paying his Fees; and this
shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
