Stanton versus Holgate.

Upon Report made by the Earl of Dorsett, from the Lords Committees appointed to receive and consider of Petitions, "That their Lordships, having heard Counsel on both Sides, upon the Petition of Penelope Stanton Widow, and the Plea and Answer of John Holgate Esquire thereunto, are of Opinion, That the Matter complained of should be heard at the Bar:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Counsel shall be heard, at the Bar of this House, upon the said Petition and Answer, on Tuesday the Twenty-eighth Day of March Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof timely Notice is to be given by the Petitioner to the Defendant in the said Cause.

Dickenson versus Dean and Chapter of York.

Upon Report made by the Earl of Dorsett, from the Lords Committees appointed to receive and consider of Petitions, "That their Lordships, having heard Counsel on both Parts, upon the Petition of Thomas Dickenson Esquire, and the Plea and Answer of the Dean and Chapter of Yorke thereunto, concerning an Annual Rent of Forty-eight Pounds, payable to the said Dean and Chapter out of the Manors of Kirby Hall, alias Kirby Usburne, and Thorpe Underwood, in the County of Yorke, the said Petition being an Appeal from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery 15° Jacobi, and several subsequent Orders made thereupon concerning the said Rent; it appearing that the Petitioner hath not applied himself to the Court of Chancery for a Bill of Review concerning the Matter complained of in the said Petition:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petion of the said Thomas Dickenson be, and is hereby, dismissed.

Adjourn.
