Ld. Berkley and Ld Delawar, Precedency.

Whereas Monday next being the Third Day of March, is appointed for giving Judgement upon the Claim of Precedency made by the Lord Berkeley of Berkeley to the Lord Delawar, the House being this Day moved, that the Lord Delawar, who is now sick in the Country, might have a longer Day granted to him:

It is thereupon ORDERED, That this House will proceed to Judgement upon the said Claim on Tuesday the Eleventh of March next peremptorily.

Ld. Windsor Privilege.

Whereas, upon Complaint made to this House, on the Fifteenth Day of April, 1671, in the last Session of this Parliament, and upon Affidavit thereof before a Master in Chancery Extraordinary, "That on Friday the Seventh Day of the said Month of April, John Rawlins, a menial Servant to the Lord Windsor, a Peer of this Realm, was arrested (the Parliament then sitting), by Edward Wassell and Henry Hayward, Bailiffs of Evesham, by the Prosecution of John Watson, of Bengeworth, in the County of Worcester, Attorney, at the Suit of Samuell Langley, of the County of Salop, Esquire, and detained Prisoner till the said John Rawlins signed a Warrant to Mr. Bird an Attorney to appear for him; and that One of the said Bailiffs uttered opprobrious Language against the Privilege of Parliament, and of the Peerage of this Kingdom;" it was, on the said Fifteenth Day of April, ordered, That the said Samuell Langley, John Watson, Edward Wassall, and Henry Hayward, should be brought to the Bar, in Custody, to answer for their said Offences, who, by reason of the Prorogation of the Parliament on the 22th of the said Month of April, did not appear; neither have they or any of them since made any Application or Submission to the Lord Windsor, for the same:

Langley, Watson, et al. to be attached, for arresting Rawlins his Servant.

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, shall forthwith attach the Bodies of the said Samuell Langley, John Watson, Edward Wassall, and Henry Hayward, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for their said Offences; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
