Berkeley's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for transferring the Interest of a Term for Years, in certain Manors and Lands, late Sir Robert Berkeley's Knight, deceased; and Payment of Portions to his Grandchildren."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir William Childe and Sir Tymothy Baldwin Knights:

Next, was read the Address brought Yesterday from the House of Commons, against the Increase of Popery.

Afterwards it was read in Paragraphs.

The Preface is postponed.

The 2d Paragraph was Agreed to, with a small Amendment.

The 3 Paragraph was Agreed to.

The Conclusion was Agreed to.

Then the Preface was read again, and Agreed to, with an Amendment.

Then the whole Address was read, with the Amendments, and Agreed to.

Holdsworth versus Ly. Honywood.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause between William Holdsworth Plaintiff, by Petition, and Dame Hester Honywood Defendant, which was appointed to be heard at the Bar of this House To-morrow Morning, is hereby put off, to be heard, by Counsel on both Parts, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Twelfth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof both the Plaintiff and Defendant in the said Cause are to take Notice.

Adjourn.
