Chudleigh Rectory, L. Clifford's Bill.
The Lord Bishop of London reported, "That the
Committee have considered the Bill for the Settlement of the Rectory of Chudleigh upon Thomas Lord
Clifford and others, and have thought fit to make
some Amendments therein, which they offer to the
Consideration of the House."
Which Amendments, being read Twice, were Agreed
to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said
Amendments.
English Manufactures for encouraging Bill.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to the same Lords Committees to whom the Review of the Sumptuary Laws is referred; whose Lordships are to meet on Wednesday next, at Three of the
Clock in the Afternoon, upon the said Bill, and are to
be assisted by the Lord Chief Justice of the Court of
Common Pleas; and, having heard such Persons as they
think fit, are afterwards to make Report unto the House.
And the Lord Treasurer, the Earl of Denbigh, the
Earl of Bristoll, the Earl of Burlington, and the Lord
Viscount Hallyfax, the Lord Paget, and the Lord Nrth,
are added to this Committee.
L. Fitzwalter versus Young, &c. Privilege.
Upon reading the Petition of Abraham Young, John
Crush, and others; shewing, "That, in Obedience to
the Order of this House, dated the 25th of February
last, they are ready to make their Personal Appearance; and praying a short Day, that they may be
admitted by Counsel to answer to the Petition of the
Right Honourable Benjamine Lord Fitzwalter, concerning a Fishing in Burnham in Essex:"
It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lord
Fitzwalter, and also the said Abraham Young, John Crush,
and other Petitioners, shall be heard, by their respective
Counsel, at the Bar of this House, on Thursday the 13th
Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon.

Majesty, who received the same with all Grace and
Kindness imaginable."
