PRAYERS.

Bill against Popish Recusants.

This House was adjourned into a Committee, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Bill for preventing Dangers that may happen by Popish Recusants.

The House was resumed.

Then the Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee of the whole House have taken into further Consideration the Bill against Popish Recusants, and have this Day proceeded in Two or Three Paragraphs, and have appointed the same Sub-committee to word some Alterations therein according to the Sense of the Debate of the Committee: To that Purpose, the Committee desires that the Judges may be appointed to assist the Sub-committee therein; and the Committee further desires, that the whole House may sit To-morrow again as a Committee of the House."

All which was ordered accordingly.

The Committee for Privileges is appointed to meet on Thursday next, in the Afternoon.

The Lord Viscount Mountagu and the Lord Mohun are added to the Committee for the Bill for making the Rivers of Parrot and Thone navigable.
