A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir William Beversham and Sir William Lowe:
1st. To deliver to them the Bill concerning Sir
William Rich and the Bill concerning William Gery, and
to desire their Concurrence to them.
2. To acquaint them, that this House agrees to their
Amendments made in the Bill concerning the Lord
Treasurer, and the Bill concerning the Earl of Sarum.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Garraway and others:
1. To return the Bill concerning the Lord Berkeley,
to which the Commons do agree.
2. To present a Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking
off Aliens Duty upon Commodities of the Growth,
Product, and Manufacture, of the Nation."
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Powell and others, who brought up a
Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Ease of His Majesty's
Protestant Subjects Dissenters from the Church of
England;" to which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.
Bill against Popish Recusants.
Next, the House was adjourned into a Committee, to
take further Consideration of the Bill for preventing the
Dangers as may happen by Popish Recusants.
The House was resumed.
The Earl of Bridgwater reported the Amendments,
Alterations, and Provisos, made by the Committee in
the said Bill.
Which Amendments and Provisos were read Twice,
and considered of, and Agreed to with a few Alterations; and the Provisos were ordered to be engrossed
against To-morrow Morning, at which Time this House
will read the said Bill the Third Time.
It was further ORDERED, That the Judges do bring
in a Proviso To-morrow Morning, for excepting Constables and such other inferior Officers from the Penalty
of Five Hundred Pounds in the said Bill mentioned, &c.
