PRAYERS.
Bishops to name One of their Bench, to preach on the 5th of November.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in
Parliament assembled, That this House do meet on Wednesday Morning next, being the 5th Day of November,
at Nine of the Clock, and go in a Body to the Abbey
Church, to hear Divine Service, and a Sermon, in
Commemoration of the Deliverance of this Kingdom
from the Gunpowder Treason; and that the Lords
Bishops of this House be desired to take such Care,
that some One of their Bench may preach before this
House on that Day.
The House to be called.
ORDERED, That this House shall be called on Monday
come Sevennight, the Tenth of November; at which
Time the Standing Orders of this House shall be read.

Upon reading the Petition of William Love, John
Buckworth, Thomas Pearle, William Breton, Edward
Pearce, James Clytherowe, John White, and others, being an Appeal from a Dismission of their Bill out of
the Court of Chancery, and a Decree made in the said
Court, on the Third Day of November, 1663, against the
Petitioners on the Behalf of Sir George Oxenden, and
Jane Noke Executrix of William Noke, then lately deceased, and Elizabeth Dallison, Administratrix of Christopher Oxendon, concerning an Accompt of a Joint
Stock of Thirteen Thousand and Three Hundred
Pounds, advanced by the Petitioners in a Trading
Voyage to China and Suratt, as in the said Appeal is set
forth:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir Henry Oxenden,
Sir James Oxendon, Thomas Atkins, and Sir George
Blundel, in the said Petition and Appeal mentioned, be,
and are hereby, required to put in their Answer or
Answers thereunto in Writing, at the Bar of this House,
within Fourteen Days next after they shall be served
with this Order, and a Copy of the said Petition signed
by the Clerk of the Parliaments; and hereof they may
not fail.

concerning a Rent Charge of Sixty Pounds per Annum,
issuing out of certain Lands and Hereditaments in Ford,
in the County of Northumberland, and out of the Manor
of Cornehill, in the County Palatine of Durham, and
concerning an Award made by Ralph Jenison Merchant concerning the same, as in the said Petition is
set forth:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Francis Blake and
Elizabeth his Wife, Arthur Babington and Margaret his
Wife, and John Carr and Susan his Wife, in the said
Petition and Appeal mentioned, be, and are hereby,
required to put in their Answer or Answers thereunto in
Writing, at the Bar of this House, within Three Weeks
next after they shall be served with this Order, and a
Copy of the said Petition signed by the Clerk of the
Parliaments; and hereof they may not fail.
