Mawley, committed for the E. of Essex's Death, bailed.

Upon reading the humble Petition of Thomas Hawley Esquire, now Prisoner in The Tower of London, upon Suspicion of being concerned in the Death of the late Earl of Essex; and praying, "That he may be bailed, there having as yet no Evidence appeared against him:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled at Westm. That the Lord Mayor of London may take sufficient Bail for the said Thomas Hawley' Appearance at the Bar of this House, at such Time and Times as he shall be thereunto required by this House; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Lord Lucas, Chief Governor of the Tower of London, his Deputy or Deputies.
