E. of Peterborough's Bill.
The Earl of Rochster reported, "That the Committee have considered the Act to make good a Recovery
suffered by the Earl of Peterborough and the Lord
Mordaunt; and have heard all Persons therein concerned; and their Opinion is, that it may pass as it is,
with the adding of a Proviso."
Which Proviso being read Twice, the House agreed
with the Opinion of the Committee; and ordered the
said Bill to be engrossed, with the Proviso.

Lords Leave to go beyond Sea.
The Duke of Northumberland hath Leave to go beyond the Seas, upon His Majesty's Service.
The Duke of Ormond hath Leave to go beyond the
Seas, being employed in His Majesty's Service.
Bill to take away the Court of the Marches of Wales.
The Speaker reported what was said, by Counsel, at
the Bar, upon Occasion of the Bill brought from the
House of Commons, for taking away the Court in the
Marches of Wales; as also what was said, by Counsel, for
the continuing the said Court.
And, after a long Debate, the said Bill was ordered
to be read the Second Time.

Pilkington versus Bolsworth, in Error.
Whereas, by virtue of Their Majesties Writ of Error
returnable into the House of Peers in Parliament assembled, a Record of the Court of King's Bench was
brought into this House, on the 17th Day of May last,
with the Transcript thereof, wherein Judgement is entered for Edmond Bolsworth against Thomas Pilkington,
late of Southwarke, in the County of Surrey, Esquire,
now Sir Thomas Pilkington Lord Mayor of London;
upon which Errors were assigned and Issue joined, and
this Day Counsel heard at the Bar, to argue the Errors
thereupon:
It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Judgement given for the said Edmond Bollesworth, against
the said Thomas Pilkington now Lord Mayor, be, and
is hereby, affirmed; and that the Transcript of the said
Record, wherein Judgement is entered as aforesaid, be
remitted.
The Tenor of which Judgement follows:

Regi et Dominæ Reginæ, in præsenti Parliamento
præd. Cur. dict. Domini Regis et Dominæ Reginæ
hic transmiss. suit; præd. Thom. Pilkington, in eadem Cur.
Parliam. comparens, diversas Causas et Materias pro
Erroribus in Record. et Process. præd. pro Revocatione et Adnullatione Judicii præd. assign.; et postea, scilicet, 3° Die Junii, Anno dict. Domini Regis
et Dominæ Reginæ supradict. in præd. Cur. Parliament. præd. visis et per Cur. ibidem diligent. examinar.

Judicio super eisdem reddit. quam præd. Error. superius assignat. pro eo quod videtur Cur. Parliament.

existit. et quod in Record. ill. in nullo fuit Errat. ideo
ad tunc et ibidem consideratum est per eandem Cur.
Parliam. præd. quod Judic. præd. in omnibus affirmetur, et in omni suo Robore stet et Effectu."
Quarrel between E. Oxon and E. Huntingdon.
The Earl Marshal acquainted the House, "That he
understanding there was like to be a Quarrel between
Two Lords of this House, he thought it his Duty
to prevent their Meeting; the Persons were the Earl
of Oxon and the Earl of Huntingdon, who have engaged themselves to be present here this Day."
The Earl of Oxon confessed, "They were Words of
Heat which fell from him; and he so far from having
any Malice, that he hath not thought of them since;
and declared he had no Ill-will towards the Earl of
Huntingdon; and begged Pardon of this House for
what he had done."
These Lords withdrew themselves several Ways.
And being called in again to their Places, the Speaker
did tell them, "That the House did command them
both to acquiesce and proceed no further in this
Business, as they will answer the contrary to this
House."
To which Command of the House, they both declared
their Obedience.
