Irish Protestant Clergy Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for Relief of the Protestant Irish Clergy."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass for a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Messages from H. C. with Bills, and to remind the Lords of Two more.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Solicitor Summers and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An additional Act for appointing Commissioners for the executing an Act of this present Parliament, intituled, An Act for a Grant to Their Majesties of an Aid of Twelve Pence in the Pound, for One Year, for the necessary Defence of Their Realms;" to which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

2. He was appointed to put their Lordships in Mind of Two Bills formerly sent up:

1. The Bill for ordering the Forces of the several Counties of the Kingdom.

2. The Bill for attainting several Persons now in Rebellion against Their Majesties.

Another Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Clayton and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for prohibiting all Trade and Commerce with France;" to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

Commissioners for the Land Tax Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An additional Act for appointing Commissioners for the executing an Act of this present Parliament, intituled, An Act for a Grant to Their Majesties of an Aid of Twelve Pence in the Pound, for One Year, for the necessary Defence of Their Realms."

Message to H. C. to remind them of the Bill for regulating Trials; and that the Lords have passed the Irish Clergy Bill.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir Lacon Childe:

1. To put them in Mind of the Bill for regulating of Trials, and to desire they would give Expedition thereunto.

2. To acquaint them, that the Lords have passed the Bill for Relief of the Protestant Irish Clergy.
