PRAYERS.

Sir Cæsar Wood versus D. of South'ton.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Cæsar Wood, alias Cranmer, praying a Day for hearing his Cause, whereunto the Duke of South'ton is Defendant:

It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Tuesday the 24th Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the said Sir Cæsar Wood, alias Cranmer, is to cause timely Notice to be given to his Grace the Duke of South'ton, to the End he attend with his Counsel accordingly.

Jarvis versus Preston.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Cause, wherein Francis Jarvis is Plaintiff, and John Preston is Defendant:"

It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel (fn. 1) on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the 15th of this Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the said Francis Jarvis is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said John Preston, to the End he attend with his Counsel accordingly.

Richardson to attend.

Whereas Captain William Richardson was this Day appointed to appear at the Bar of this House, to answer such Things as should be objected against him:

It is ORDERED, That the said Captain William Richardson do attend this House on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Coke versus Fountain.

After hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Andrew Fountaine Esquire, and the Answer of Edward Coke Esquire put in thereunto:

It is ORDERED, That this House will hear the Counsel further in the said Cause To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Thwaites versus Deye et Ux.

ORDERED, That the Cause which was appointed to be heard To-morrow, wherein James Thwaites is Plaintiff, and John Deye is Defendant, shall be heard, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, being the 13th Instant.

E. of Radnor's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Charles Earl of Radnor to make a Jointure, and raise a Sum of Money, out of divers Lands and Tenements in the County of Cornwall."

Committees adjourned.

ORDERED, That the Committees, which were appointed to meet this Afternoon, are put off; and appointed to meet To-morrow, in the Afternoon.
