Vincent versus Parker.
Upon reading the Petition of Vincent Vincent Esquire;
shewing, "That, since his Appeal lodged in this House,
he hath Notice of an Order of the Chancery made,
that he should be kept in safe Custody, and his Estate
Real and Personal sequestered and seized for his Nonperformance of the Decrees appealed from; and
praying, that the said Order may be set aside, and all
Things stand in such State in this House as at the
Time of the last Parliament:"
Whether Proceedings may be had in the Courts, after Appeals, &c in Intervals of Parliament.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition
of Vincent Vincent Esquire be, and is hereby, referred
to the Lords Committees appointed to consider whether
any Proceedings may be had in Westm. Hall, in the Intervals of Parliaments, after Appeals or Writs of Errors
depending in this House; whose Lordships are to meet
and consider thereof To-morrow at Nine of the Clock in
the Forenoon.
Coke versus Fountain.
After hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, in the
Cause wherein Edward Coke Esquire is Plaintiff, and
Andrew Fountain is Defendant, upon the Sum of One
Thousand Pounds:
It is ORDERED, That the Speaker of this House shall
report what was said by Counsel on both Sides thereupon on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and no other Business to intervene: And it is further ORDERED, That, if there be further Time after
the said Report, this House will proceed to hear Counsel on both Sides further in the said Cause.
Dashwood & al. versus Champante.
ORDERED, That this House will hear the Cause
wherein Sir Robert Dashwood and others are Plaintiffs,
and Sir John Champante is Defendant, on Monday next,
at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Dod versus Burrows.
ORDERED, That the Cause which was appointed to
be heard on Monday next, wherein Anne Dod is Plaintiff, and Thomas Burrowes is Defendant, shall, and is
hereby, put off, to be heard on Wednesday the 10th
Day of this Instant April, at Ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon.
