De la Chambre & al. Nat Bill.

The Lord North reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the naturalizing Francis De La Chambre and others, with One Amendment."

Which was read Twice, and Agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendment.

Harris versus Osbolston.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Osbolston; shewing, "That he is informed, that John Harris Yesterday obtained an Order for the Master in Chancery to compute Interest for Eighty Pounds per Annum ever since 1658; whereby he will be loaded, who is an Executor of an Executor, with near Five Thousand Pounds, as a Debt of the First Testator above Thirtytwo Years since; and praying that he may be heard before the said Order be absolutely passed, and that a Day may be appointed for hearing thereof:"

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel for the said John Harris and Elizabeth Harris, as also for Robert Osbolston, upon this Point only, "How the Master in Chancery shall proceed in the said Accompt, and whether he shall compute Interest for the Eighty Pounds per Annum ever since 1658, or not," on Monday the Twenty-fourth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Cudmore versus Lacy.

The Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench, in the usual Manner, brought in a Writ of Error, wherein Cudmore and others are Plaintiffs, and Lacy Defendant.

Burchet versus Durdant.

After hearing Counsel this Day at the Bar, to argue the Errors assigned upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Thomas Burchett is Plaintiff, and Mary Durdant Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Speaker shall report what hath been said by Counsel on either Side thereupon, To-morrow at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that all the Judges do then attend this House.

Chancery, &c. to reform Abuses in, Bill.

After having this Day heard the Opinion of Sir William Dalbin, Mr. Baron Nevill, Mr. Justice Gregory, Mr. Baron Lechmore, Mr. Justice Rookesby, Mr. Justice Eyre, and Mr. Justice Ventrice, concerning the Bill intituled, "An Act for regulating divers Abuses in the Court of Chancery and other Courts of Equity:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Speaker doth report to the House, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, what hath been said at the Bar, by the Lord Commissioner Rawlinson, and the other Counsel, and Mr. Serjeant Thompson, upon the said Bill; and that all the Lords in and about the Town be then summoned to attend, and all the Judges also.

Admiralty Commissioners Bill.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will take into Consideration the Amendments made by the Commons to the Bill, intituled, "An Act concerning the Commissioners of the Admiralty," To-morrow, next after the Business of the Earl of Bath and Dutchess of Albermarle.

Clerke versus Baden.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Edmond Clerke is Plaintiff, and Robert Baden Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Friday the 21th Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Foden versus Farrington.

Whereas Monday next was appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Edward Foden is Plaintiff, and John Farrington Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Saturday the 22th Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
