Petworth Parsonage Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for uniting the Parsonage of Petworth to the Bishopric of Chichester," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed.

Cook's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the enabling of Trustees to sell certain Lands of Richard Cooke deceased, to pay Debts, and to raise a Portion for his Daughter," as fit to pass, with One Amendment.

Which was read Twice, and Agreed to.

ORDERED, That the said Bill, with the Amendment, be engrossed.

Letters Patent, Needwood Forest Bill.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making void several Letters Patents therein mentioned," be revived; and do sit Tomorrow, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Hildeyard's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Phillip Hildeyard Esquire to sell Lands in Surrey, and to settle Lands in Lincolnesheire in Lieu thereof."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass into a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Kecke and Sir Samuell Astry:

To carry down the said Bill, and to desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Williams's Bill.

The Lord Ferrers reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for raising Money, out of the Estate of Thomas Williams Esquire, for Payment of Debts," with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and Agreed to.

ORDERED, That the said Bill, with the Amendments, be engrossed.

Chancery, &c. to reform Abuses in, Bill.

The Speaker (pursuant to the Order made on Friday last) reported to the House, what was said at the Bar by Sir William Rawlinson, One of the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, and the Counsel who were appointed by His Majesty to speak as to what concerned His Majesty's Prerogative, and Mr. Serjeant Thompson, concerning and upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating divers Abuses in the Court of Chancery, and other Courts of Equity."

And, after Debate thereupon, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill be, and is hereby, recommitted to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Fauconberge reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desired the House would appoint another Day, for the House to be put into a Committee, to consider further of the said Bill."

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee, to consider further of the said Bill, on Wednesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, the First Business; and the Judges to attend.

Adjourn.
