Dutchess of Richmond & al. against the Alnage Bill.
After hearing this Day, at the Bar, Their Majesties
Counsel, as also Counsel for the Dutchess of Richmond
& Lenox, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for
transferring the Duty and Custom of Alnage to the
Custom-house;" as also Counsel for the said Bill:
Then,
Alnage Duty for transferring to the Customhouse, Bill.

the Duty and Custom of Alnage to the Customhouse."
And, after Debate thereupon,
This Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall
be committed?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Then this Question was put, "Whether this Bill
shall be rejected?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
