No Lord to be absent without Leave:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That no Lord shall absent himself from the Service of this House, without the Leave of the House, upon Pain of being sent for in Custody; and that no such Leave be asked but between the Hours of Twelve and Two of the Clock.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Right Honourable the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England do send the following Letter to the Lords this Day absent:

"My Lord,

"I am commanded, by the most Honourable House of Peers, to send to your Lordship the enclosed Copy of their Order; and to acquaint your Lordship, that the Day prefixed by the House for your Attendance is : And I am also commanded to let your Lordship know, that the said Order will be very strictly put in Execution.
