King present.
His Majesty, being arrrayed in His Regal Robes and
Crown, attended with His Officers of State, ascended
His Royal Throne (the Peers being also in their Robes);
commanded the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod to
signify to the Commons, "It is His Majesty's Pleasure,
they attend Him presently."
Bills passed.
Who being come, with their Speaker; the Clerk of the
Crown read the Titles of the Bills following; (videlicet,)
"1. An Act for importing and coining Guineas and
Half Guineas."
"2. An Act to explain that Part of the Act passed
the last Session of Parliament, for laying several
Duties on Low Wines and Spirits of the First Extraction; and for preventing the Frauds and Abuses of
Brewers, Distillers, and other Persons chargeable
with the Duties of Excise, which relates to the Payment of Tallies, and the Interest thereof."
"3. An Act for the further remedying the ill State
of the Coin of the Kingdom."
To which Bills the Royal Assent was pronounced,
by the Clerk of the Parliaments, in these Words;

Then His Majesty was pleased to withdraw; and the

Eastmond versus Sandyes.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Joseph Eastmond and Samuel Nayle, as also upon the Answer of
Edwin Sandyes put in thereunto, on Saturday the
Twelfth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the
Clock in the Forenoon.

Mynors' Bill.
The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee,
the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Settlement of the
Manor of Treyagyoe, in the County of Hereford, and
other the Lands late of Crompton Mynors Esquire,
deceased; and for raising and increasing of the Portion of Theodosia Mynors, the Daughter of the said
Crompton, she being an Infant of the Age of Seventeen Years," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill
ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
