King's Answer to the Address for a Reprieve for Sir J. Fenwick.

The Earl of Scarbrough reported His Majesty's Answer to the Address presented Yesterday, for delaying the Execution of Sir John Fenwick, "That His Majesty was pleased to say, I cannot judge whether the Reprieving of Sir John Fenwick may be of dangerous Consequence to Myself or Government, or not: But, since the Lords have made this Address, his Execution shall be delayed till Thursday next; and I will accordingly give Order for it."

Elections, for further regulating, Bill.

The Order being read, for taking into Consideration the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the further regulating Elections of Members to serve in Parliament."

And several Petitions against the said Bill being also read:
