Lord Fairfax's Bill.
Hodie 1a
vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to
enable Thomas Lord Fairfax of the Kingdom of
Scotland to raise Monies, charged by Thomas Lord
Culpeper deceased upon his Estate."
ORDERED, That the Lord Culpeper may be heard, by
himself or Counsel, before the Second Reading of the
said Bill, on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
Crowle's Bill.
The Earl of Stamford reported from the Committee,
the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting Part of the
Estate of Roger Crowle Esquire, deceased, in Trustees,
for raising Portions for his younger Children, in
regard he (being a Lunatic) could not execute a
Power in his Marriage Settlement for that Purpose,"
as fit to pass, without any Amendment.
Message from H. C. to remind them of a former Message about Admiralty Commissioners.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Pitt:
To let the Commons know, that their Lordships having sent a Message to them the Twentieth Instant, to
desire that such of their Members as are Commissioners
of the Admiralty might have Liberty to attend the
Lords Committees appointed to make Inquiry concerning
the Thoulon Squadron's getting into Brest without any
Opposition, in April One Thousand Six Hundred Ninetysix; to which Message the Commons returned Answer,
That they would send their Lordships an Answer by
Messengers of their own;" and that, their Lordships
having received no Answer, they do put them in Mind
thereof.
Westminster Hay-market Bill.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put
into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act
for paving and regulating the Hay-market in the
Parishes of St. Martin in the Fields and St. James, within the Liberty of Westminster."
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Bishop of London reported, "That
the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and
think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Westm'land, relating to some Matters in Difference between her and the Earl of Derby:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Earl of Derby
may have a Copy of the said Petition; and put in his
Answer thereunto, in Writing, with all convenient
Speed.
