Sir C. W. Bampfield versus Popham.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Copplestone Warwick Bampfeild Baronet, an Instant, by his Guardian, and others, Plaintiffs, against Alexander Popham Esquire, Defendant; praying, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of their Cause depending in this House:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Eighteenth Day of January next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Farrington's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, to be sold, certain Lands of George Farrington Esquire, lying in the Counties of Middl'x and Surrey, settled upon the Marriage of William Farrington his Nephew; and, with the Money arising thereby, for purchasing of other Lands in Lancashire, where the ancient Estate of the Family lies, to be settled to the same Uses."

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
