ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a
Committee of the whole House, on Monday the Thirtieth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven of the Clock.

Upon reading the Petition of the Planters of Virginia and Maryland; praying, "That they may be
heard, before the passing of the Bill, intituled, An
Act to settle the Trade to Affrica:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners,
or any others, shall be heard, by themselves or Counsel,
what they have to offer in relation to the said Bill,
on Monday the Thirtieth Day of this Instant May, at
Eleven of the Clock.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to
enable John Jenkin Merchant to sell Part of his
Estate, for Payment of his Debts;" to which they
desire the Concurrence of this House.

Sir Thomas Mompesson and others:
Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for
the exporting Watches, Sword Hilts, and other Manufactures of Silver;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Backwell's Creditors, for Relief of, Bill.
The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of the
Creditors of Edward Backwell Esquire deceased," as
fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the
Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
Report of the Conference on the Bill for suppressing of Biasphemy; &c.
The Commons being come to the Conference, the
Managers Names were read.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and
the Lords went to the Conference.
Which being ended, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Bishop of London reported, "That
they had attended the Conference; and that the
Commons do not agree to the First Amendment, because it will subject the Jews who live amongst us
to all the Pains and Penalties contained in the Bill,
which must therefore of Necessity ruin them, or
drive them out of the Kingdom; and cannot be
thought was the Intention of your Lordships, since
here they have the Means and Opportunities to be
informed of, and rightly instructed in, the Principles
of the true Christian Religion: But the Commons
do agree to the Two last Amendments made by
their Lordships to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the
more effectual suppressing of Blasphemy and Profaneness."
ORDERED, That the Report made this Day of the
Conference with the Commons, upon the Subject-matter
of the Lords Amendments to the Bill, intituled, "An
Act for the more effectual suppressing of Blasphemy
and Profaneness," shall be considered on Tuesday the
One and Thirtieth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven
of the Clock.
New Forest, Proposals for enclosing, to preserve the Timber there.
The Earl of Tankerville reported from the Lords
Committees appointed to consider what may be the best
and most effectual Way for making Enclosures and Fences
for the Preservation of the Timber in The New Forest,
That they had heard and received several Proposals
from several Persons in relation thereunto; which
they offered to their Lordships Consideration."
New Forest, Bill for Increase of Timber in.
Then the said Proposals were read; and the House
was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee on the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Increase and Preservation of Timber, in The New Forest, in the County of Southampton."
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Herbert reported, "That they had
made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another
Time, for the House to be put into a Committee again."
ORDERED, That the House be put into a Committee again on the said Bill, To-morrow Morning, the First
Business.
Ayr and Calder Rivers, for making navigable, Bill.
Whereas this Day was appointed for resuming the
Debate, after hearing Counsel, for and against the Bill,
intituled, "An Act for making navigable the Rivers
Ayr and Calder, in the County of Yorke; and some of
the Brethren of Trinity House to attend:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Debate
shall be resumed on Wednesday the First Day of
June next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that some of
the Members of Trinity House do then attend, in relation to their Report delivered this Day; and no other
Business to intervene; and all the Lords summoned to
attend.
