This Day Charles Duke of Bolton, John Duke of
Newcastle, and John Lord Bishop of Oxford, took the
Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Webb versus Kirke.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Henry
Webb, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Doctor Thomas Wood late Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield,
from a Decree of the Court of Chancery, made the
Eighth Day of December One Thousand Six Hundred
Ninety-eight, in a Cause wherein Thomas Kirke, Executor of Mary Kirke his Wife, was Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the
said Decree, as to the Sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-nine Pounds and Ten Shillings:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Kirke
may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and he
is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in
Writing, on Friday the Seven and Twentieth Day of
this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
