"To the Right Honourable the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in Parliament assembled.
"The humble Petition of Edward Earl of
Warwick and Holland;
"Sheweth,
"That your Lordships, on your Petitioner's Surrender of himself, have been pleased to commit him to
The Tower, as standing accused for the Death of Mr.
Coote; in which Matter your Petitioner doubts not to
acquit himself to your Lordships Satisfaction: But his
Consinement being very uneasy and prejudicial to his
Health;
"Your Petitioner therefore most humbly prayeth,
that your Lordships may be pleased to order,
either that your Petitioner may be speedily
tried, or admitted to Bail, as your Lordships
