Kirk versus Webb.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Kirke Gentleman, from a Decree of Dismission of the Court of Chancery, made the Three and Twentieth Day of June, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-nine, in a Cause wherein the Petitioner was Plaintiff, against Henry Webb Esquire, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Doctor Thomas Wood late Bishop of Coventry & Lichfeild, Sir Cesar Wood, alias Cranmer, Knight, and Thomas Webb Esquire, Defendants; and praying the said Decree of Dismission may be reversed and set aside:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Henry Webb, Thomas Webb, and Sir Cesar Cranmer, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Wednesday the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

After hearing Counsel this Day, upon the Petition of the Dutchess of Norfolke:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Thomas Hoite, now in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, shall be, and is hereby, discharged, paying his Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

Bp. of Derry's Letters.

The Earl of Jersey, Principal Secretary of State, by His Majesty's Command, laid before the House some Letters relating to the Bishop of Derry in Ireland.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Letters shall be read To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock.
