D. of Norfolk's Bill for a Divorce:

After reading the Order for resuming the Consideration of the Duke of Norfolk's Petition, and Debate thereupon:

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Duke of Norfolk's Marriage with the Lady Mary Mordant, and to enable him to marry again."

Dutch. of Norfolk, a Copy of the Bill.

Upon the First Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Duke of Norfolk's Marriage with the Lady Mary Mordant, and to enable him to marry again:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Dutchess of Norfolke may have a Copy of the said Bill; and that his Grace the Duke of Norfolke shall be heard, by his Counsel, to make good the Allegations of his Bill, on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Dutchess of Norfolke may have Counsel to attend at the same Time, if she please.

Merefield's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling of the Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, late of Robert Merefield and John Merefield, Esquires, deceased, and for ascertaining the Proportions between the Widow of the said Robert and his surviving Children," as fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, with an Amendment made at the Table; and being agreed to, the Bill was ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Ducas & al. Nat.

Upon reading the Petition of James Ducas and others, praying to be naturalized; having served in the late War in English Regiments, and being Protestants:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That they may be added to a Bill of Naturalization now depending in this House.

Martin, Nat.

Upon reading the Petition of Francis Martin; praying to be naturalized, he having served in the War for Seven Years last past:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may be added to the aforesaid Bill.

Berger, Nat.

Upon reading the Petition of Ester Berger; praying to be naturalized, he having served at Sea several Years under the Command of Admiral Russell:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may be added to a Bill of Naturalization now depending in this House.

Lacy's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Sale of several Western Manors and Lands, the Estate of Arthur Lacy Esquire, for discharging a Mortgage thereupon; and for laying out the Surplusmoney in the Purchase of Demesne Lands, to be settled to the same Uses."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling Anne Baldwin Widow to sell a Capital Messuage and Lands, in the County of Bucks, devised by her Husband's Will," stands committed; who are to meet on Saturday the Second Day of March next, at the same Time and Place.

Retailers of India Goods against the Bill for employing the Poor in Manufactures, &c.

Upon reading the Petition of the Retailers of East India Goods; praying, "That they may be heard against some Clauses in the Bill now depending in this House, intituled, An Act for the more effectual employing the Poor, by encouraging the Manufactures of this Kingdom:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by One Counsel, at the Committee of the whole House, To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock; as also any others who shall think themselves concerned for the said Bill.

Union of England and Scotland, Bill for Commissioners to treat about.

The Lord Privy Seal reported from the Lords Committees appointed to draw a Bill for a Union between England and Scotland, the Bill following:

East India Company to continue a Corporation, Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of the English Company trading to The East Indies; praying, "That they may be heard, by their Counsel, against the Bill, intituled, An Act to continue the Governor and Company of Merchants of London trading to The East Indies a Corporation:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock, before the Second Reading of the said Bill; as also Counsel for such as shall think themselves concerned for the said Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Clarke and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Francis Vander-Tyd and Agneta Vander-Mersch;" and to acquaint this House, that they had agreed to their Lordships Amendments made to the said Bill.

Aliens Children to inherit, Bill.

After hearing Mr. Attorney General (pursuant to the Order of the Twelfth Instant) upon the Bill, intituled, An Act to enable His Majesty's natural-born Subjects to inherit the Estate of their Ancestors, Lineal or Collateral, notwithstanding their Father or Mother were Aliens."
