PRAYERS.

Clayton versus Clayton.

Whereas Monday next was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein John Clayton is Appellant, and Prudence Clayton Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Poor, for Employment of, Bill, and prohibiting India Goods.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual employing the Poor, by encouraging the Manufactures of this Kingdom."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Marquis of Halifax reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Third Time on Monday next; and all the Lords summoned to attend.

Kirke versus Webb.

Whereas Tuesday next was appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Thomas Kirke is Appellant, and Thomas Webb and others are Respondents:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause on Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Warren versus Jackson.

Upon reading the Petition of Hugh Warren; praying, That some Alteration may be made in the Order of this House of the Tenth Instant, upon hearing the Cause wherein Samuel Jackson is Appellant:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear One Counsel on either Side in that Matter, on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock.

Barber, Nat.

Upon reading the Petition of Lewis Barber; praying to be naturalized, he having served in the late War, and is a Protestant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may be added to a Bill of Naturalization depending in this House.

Dutch. of Norfolk to be heard, against the Divorce Bill:

Upon reading the Petition of Mary Dutchess of Norfolke; praying to be heard, by her Counsel, before any further Proceedings be made on the Bill, intituled, An Act to dissolve the Duke of Norfolk's Marriage with the Lady Mary Mordant, and to enable him to marry again:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Dutchess of Norfolke shall be heard, by her Counsel, as desired, on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

D. of Norfolk's Witnesses to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That William Lane and John L'Fountaine Gentlemen do attend this House on Tuesday the Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, as Witnesses, to be examined on the Behalf of the Duke of Norfolke.
