Upon reading the Petition of Friswith Deane, of Chancery Lane; praying to be heard to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the speedy and effectual making a convenient Way out of Chancery Lane, to Lincolne's Inne Fields, and Places adjacent:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner shall be heard, at the Committee to whom the said Bill shall be committed.

D. of Norfolk's Bill for a Divorce:

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Holford and Mr. Meredith:

To carry down the Bill, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the Duke of Norfolk's Marriage with the Lady Mary Mordant, and to enable him to marry again;" and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Mason versus Nugent.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Robert Mason Gentleman, against a Decree made in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, on the Seventeenth Day of November, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninetynine, in a Cause there depending, between Thomas Nugent Esquire, commonly called Earl of Westmeath, Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree; as also upon the Answer of the said Thomas Nugent put in thereunto:

Judgement affirmed.

After due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Robert Mason shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree from which he appealed shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Jackson's Witnesses to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Charles Bagshaw, Henry Raobb, and Aaron Kemton, shall and they are hereby required to attend this House on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon, as Witnesses on the Behalf of Benjamine Jackson.
