Messages from H. C. with a Bill; and to return De la Garde & al. Nat. Bill; and Janson's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Cornbury and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Isaac Delagarde, John Baterow, and others;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Which Amendments, being read Three Times, were agreed to; and ORDERED, that the Commons have Notice thereof.

Also, a Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir William Ashurst and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of the Estate of Bryan J'anson Esquire, deceased, for Payment of Debts, and Provisions for his Wife and Children;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

Also, a Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Conyers:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, An Act for laying further Duties upon wrought Silks, Muslins, and some other Commodities, of the East Indies; and for enlarging the Time for purchasing certain reversionary Annuities therein mentioned;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Bill for taking off Duties on Woollen Manufactures, &c. exported:

Then the House (pursuant to the Order Yesterday) took into Consideration the Report of the Conference, and the Reason offered by the Commons, for their disagreeing to their Lordships Amendment made to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking away the Duties upon the Woollen Manufactures, Corn, Grain, Bread, Biscuit, and Meal, exported."

And, after Debate thereupon,

Lords do not insist on their Amendment:

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist upon their Amendment made to the said Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

Message to H. C. to acquaint them with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Sir Richard Holford:

To acquaint them, that the Lords do not insist upon their Amendment made to the said Bill.

Land Tax in England, and forfeited Estates in Ireland, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting an Aid to his Majesty, by Sale of forfeited and other Estates and Interests in Ireland, and by a Land Tax in England, for the several Purposes therein mentioned."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be read the Third Time on Monday next, at Twelve of the Clock; and all the Lords and Judges summoned then to attend.

Adjourn.
