Purchase versus L. Hereford and Wilkinson.
Whereas this Day was appointed for the Lords Committees for Privileges to consider Mr. Purchase's Petition,
relating to a Protection given by the Lord Viscount
Hereford:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said Committee shall
meet on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon.
Vaughan's Bill.

vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to
enable William Vaughan and Frances Vaughan his intended Wife (being both under the Age of One and
Twenty Years) to perform Articles made for their
Marriage."
Perkins's Petition.
Upon reading the Petition of Elizabeth Perkins, the
Wife of Edmund Perkins Esquire; praying, "to be
heard, by her Counsel, to her Bill depending in this
House; and that her Husband may make her such an
Allowance as the House shall think fit, for her Counsel,
and other Expences she must of Necessity be at:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner shall be
heard, as desired, the Seventeenth Instant; and that she
do name her Counsel; and if she cannot get them to
attend, then this House will assign her those Counsel.
Farrel versus White.
After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal
of James Farrell, by his prochein Amie, George Lysons
Esquire, against a Decree made in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, the Six and Twentieth Day of June
One Thousand Seven Hundred, and other Orders, on the
Behalf of John White Esquire, Katherine his Wife, Samuel Smith, Mortagh Dowling Esquire, and Neagle;
praying, "That the said Decree may be reversed;"
as also upon the Answer of John White and Katherine
his Wife put in thereunto; and due Consideration of
what was offered thereupon:
It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Petition and Appeal of James Farrell, by his prochein
Amy, George Lysons, shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this
House; and that the Decree and Orders from which he
appealed shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.
King's Answer about being attended with the Address.
The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That
he had attended His Majesty, to know what Time His
Majesty will be pleased to appoint, for this House to
attend Him with their Address; and that His Majesty
had appointed Wednesday next, at Six a Clock in the
Evening, at Kensington."
King's Letters relating to the Meeting of Parliament, His Majesty to be moved for.
Then the House went into Consideration of the adjourned Debate Yesterday.
And, after some Time, it was ORDERED, by the Lords
Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That
the Lord Chamberlain do humbly move His Majesty, from
this House, "That He will be pleased to give Order,
that all the Letters sent by Mr. Blathwaite (by His
Majesty's Command) to the Lords Justices (last Summer), concerning the sitting, meeting, or proroguing
of the Parliament, and the Lords Justices Answers
thereunto, be laid before this House."
L. Baltimore versus Colony Bill.
Whereas this Day was appointed, for hearing the
Lord Baltemore, Mr. Penn, and others, for and against
the Bill, intituled, "An Act for re-uniting to the Crown
the Government of several Colonies and Plantations
in America:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That they shall be heard, by
their Counsel, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock; and
that the Writ of Error appointed to be argued Tomorrow shall be argued on Wednesday next.
Mrs Perkins's Witnesses.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That Henry Hooke Esquire,
William Goldwyre Esquire, George Hastings Gentleman,
Henry Lacy Gentleman, Mrs. Sarah Hastings, Abel
Litchford Esquire, Nicholas Scagar, Robert Shetler, and
John Therle, shall and they are hereby required to attend
this House, as Witnesses, to be examined on the Behalf
of Elizabeth Wife of Edmund Perkins Esquire, on
Saturday the Seventeenth of this Instant May, at Eleven
a Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further ORDERED,
That they shall and hereby have the Protection of this
House, in their coming hither, staying here, and returning to their Habitations.
