The Messengers sent Yesterday to the House of Commons, return with this Answer:

That they have given Leave to Mr. Seymour to attend their Lordships this Morning, to be examined concerning Colonel Tomlinson.

Col. Tomlinson to be left out in the List of the late King's Judges.

The House heard the Information of Mr. Seymour, what he could say concerning Colonel Tomlinson, touching the King's Murder:

And it appearing by him, that the late King did express to him that Colonel Tomlinson had carried himself civilly towards His Majesty, therefore desired he might find Respects; and it did not appear to their Lordships that the said Colonel Tomlinson did sign the Warrant for the Murder of the King:

It being put to the Question, "Whether the Name of Colonel Tomlinson be left out of the List of Names read Yesterday?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

L. Poulet's Cause.

Ordered, That the Lord Pawlett's Cause shall be heard this Afternoon.

Sheriff of Oxon refused to assist the Gentleman Usher's Deputy, in apprehending Scrope.

The Gentleman Usher acquainted this House, "That the Sheriff of the County of Oxon did refuse to assist his Deputy, in apprehending of Adrian Scrope, One of the Persons that gave Sentence upon the late King, and signed the Warrant for his Execution; whereby the said Adrian Scrope escaped:"

It is Ordered, That the Person, the Gentleman Usher's Deputy, shall give an Account hereof to this House this Afternoon.

Howcott against Tench.

Upon Information of Robert Howcott, "That one Talley told him, that one Tench brought Irons to the Scaffold at the Murder of the King, and dipped his Handkerchief in the Blood of the King:"

It is Ordered, That the said Talley and Tench shall be summoned to appear before this House forthwith; and then their Lordships will further examine this Business.

Bill of Indemnity.

The House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to proceed further in Consideration of the Bill of Indemnity and Oblivion.

The House being resumed;

Persons excepted.

The Lord Robertes reported from the Committee, "That their Lordships Opinion is, That Colonel Francis Hacker, Sir Henry Vane, Sir Arthur Hasilrig, Colonel John Lambert, and Colonel Daniell Axtell, be wholly exempted out of the Bill of Indemnity."

Which Opinions this House approved of, and ordered the same accordingly.

Then was read the rest of the Clause, wherein the aforesaid Persons were named in the Bill.

And the Question being put, "Whether this Clause now read shall be left out of the Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Memorandum, That the Earl of Lyncolne entered his Dissent to the aforesaid Question, by subscribing his Name.
