Meetings of Quakers and Anabaptists in North'ton.
Upon Information to this House, "That there are great Multitudes of Anabaptists and Quakers, that assemble themselves together in great Numbers, to the endangering the Peace of the County of North'ton; and that they scatter abroad seditious Papers against Ministry:"
It is Ordered, That it be recommended to the Justices of the next Assize for that County, to give special Charge and Directions to the Justices of Peace, and all other Officers, to take Care to suppress and prevent such Meetings; and that the Sheriff of the County do take special Care to prevent such riotous Meetings, and preserve the Peace of that County.
Vanteythusen & al. Naturalization Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for naturalizing of Gerard Vanteythusen, Daniell Demetrius, Theodore Cock, John Cranenburgh, and others."
Message from the King, that both Houses may adjourn themselves:
The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, "That he and the Lord Treasurer had given His Majesty an Account of the Reasons, at the last Free Conference with the House of Commons, concerning the Adjournment of the Houses; and His Majesty, having considered thereof, is pleased to gratify the House of Commons, as to consent that both Houses of Parliament may adjourn themselves."
Message to H. C. for a Conference about it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Edmond Peirce and Doctor Bennett:
To desire a present Free Conference, in the Painted Chamber, concerning the Matter of the last Free Conference.
Bill for draining Fens in Lincoln.

Ordered, To be committed to the same Committee as was appointed for the former Level.

Committee to put in Execution the Bill for Poll-money concerning the Peers.
Ordered, That the Commissioners of Lords, named in the Bill for Poll-money, do meet this Afternoon; and the Lord Treasurer, Lord High Steward, Earl Leycester, Earl Winchilsea, Earl Dorsett, Earl Peterborough, Lord Mohun, Lord Robertes, Lord Finch, and Lord Lexinton, are hereby appointed to consider of the putting into Execution the Bill of Poll-money, so far as concerns the Peers, for the speedy bringing in of Money.

L. Lexington versus Hutchingson.
The Cause betwixt the Lord Lexington and Colonel John Hutchingson, was heard, by Counsel on both Side, at this Bar.
And it is Ordered, That the Consideration of this Business be taken up on Wednesday Morning next, what Determination to be given herein.
Marquis of Worcester surrendered his Patent to be D. of Somerset.
The Lord Arrundell of Warder signified to the House, "That the Marquis of Worcester hath delivered up the Patent to His Majesty, for the Dukedom of Somersett."
Bill to bring in Patents and Grants obtained during the Troubles.
Ordered, That the Committee for the Marquis of Worcester's Patent shall consider of and prepare a Bill, to be offered to this House, "That all Patents and Grants obtained since the Beginning of the late Wars shall be brought within a short Time to be limited, or else the same to be vacated."
And the Lord Wharton is added to the said Committee; and Mr. Attorney General is to attend their Lordships this Afternoon.
Sir G. Booth's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act to enable Sir Booth to make Leases, and sell Part of his Estate, for the Payment of Debts."
Ordered, That this Bill is committed to the Consideration of the Committee for Bills.
Message from H. C. with Votes; and to remind the Lords of the Bill to confirm the Fundamental Laws.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Annesley, &c.; who brought up divers Votes, wherein they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Order concerning a Provision for the Dukes of York and Gloucester.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the King's Majesty be desired not to dispose of any of the Manors or Lands of the Persons excepted from Pardon by the Act of general Pardon and Oblivion, until His Brothers the Dukes of Yorke and Gloucester be provided for."
Order for 10,000£. for the D. of York.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Sum of Ten Thousand Pounds be charged upon the Receipt of the Excise, for his Highness the Duke of Yorke, and paid in Course, by the Commissioners of Excise, to his Highness, or his Assigns, next after such Monies as have been charged upon the Excise since the Sitting of the secluded Members, together with Interest for the same at Six Pounds per Cent. till the Principal shall be satisfied: And the Commissioners of the Excise are authorized and required to pay the same accordingly."
Order for 7000 £. for the D. of Gloucester.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Sum of Seven Thousand Pounds be charged upon the Receipt of the Excise, for his Highness the Duke of Gloucester, and paid in Course, by the Commissioners of Excise, to his Highness, or his Assigns, next after such Monies as have been charged upon the Excise since the Sitting of the secluded Members, together with Interest for the same at Six Pounds per Cent. till the Principal shall be satisfied: And the Commissioners of Excise are authorized and required to pay the same accordingly."
Order against Quakers and Anabaptists Meetings in North'tonshire.
Upon Information given to this House, "That there are very great Assemblies of Quakers and Anabaptists (conceived to be of Lambert's Party), who meet frequently, in very great Multitudes, in the Towns of Culworth and Eyden in Northamptonshire, and in other Parts of that County, plotting and contriving against the Peace of the Church and State, as appears evidently by their very frequent casting out and dispersing several scandalous Papers, against the Ministers and their Preaching the Truth in Churches, to the great Discouragement and Scandal of good People:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords in Parliament assembled, That it is hereby specially recommended to the Justices of Assize, at their next Sitting in the said County, that they give strict Charge to the Sheriff there, and to the Justices of the Peace and others whom it concerns, that they, in their several Jurisdictions and Places about them, do suppress and prevent such Meetings, that the Peace of the Land be kept, and the People freed hereafter of the said Disquiets; and that the Sheriff be specially charged to prevent the like Meetings throughout the whole County hereafter, for the avoiding of Tumults and Riots contrary to Law.
