Lake versus Buckenham.
ORDERED, That John Collins shall attend this House
To-morrow Morning, to give his Testimony concerning
Buckenham and Eades, who have spoken contemptuous
Words of an Order made by the Committee for Petitions.
E. of Clare versus Egerton, for Breach of Privilege.
Next, William Egerton, a Scavenger, was brought to
the Bar, as a Delinquent.
And being demanded, whether he procured a Warrant from Justice Weld, for attaching the Body of the
Earl of Clare, and for bringing him before the said
Justice; he said, "he only gave the Return of Names
to the Justice; upon which the Justice issued out a
Warrant, and the Earl of Clare's Name was among
the rest: But he cannot write nor read; and so did
not know that the Earl of Clare's Name was included in the Warrant."
The said Egerton presented a Petition; which was
read.
The Lords hereupon ORDERED, That the Witnesses
in this Case shall attend the Committee for Privileges
this Afternoon, to whom the Examination of this Business is already referred.
Marquis of Worcester's Bill.

vice lecta est Billa, "An Act on the Behalf of Edward Marquis and Earl of Worcester, and
of the Creditors of the said Marquis, of vesting and
settling upon Feoffees, in Trust, certain Manors, Lands,
and Tenements, for Payment of the Debts of the said
Marquis."
Jones and Wandleys, Petition against it.
At the same Time a Petition on Behalf of Phillip
Jones was read.
Likewise a Petition of Andrew Wandley, was read.
Also a Petition of Valentine Wandley was read.
All which Persons alledging, "They have bought
Lands and Houses of the Marquis of Worcester, for
which they have as good Assurances as the Law can
give; therefore they desire to be heard, by their
Counsel, at this Bar, before the said Bill be committed."
Hereupon it is ORDERED, That Friday Morning next
is appointed, to hear the Counsel of the said Petitioners,
at this Bar; and the Counsel of any others that are concerned in the said Bill, and the Counsel also of the Marquis of Worcester's, to be heard at the same Time.
ORDERED, That the Lord Lovelace is added to the
Committee for Assurances.
Bill to reverse the E. of Strafford's Attainder.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Justice Mallett and Baron Turner:
To deliver to them the Bill for reversing the Bill for
the Attainder of the Earl of Strafford, and desire their
Concurrence therein.
