Message from H. C. with Bills.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Solomon Swale and others; who brought up these Bills following:

1. The Bill concerning the Duke of Richmond, sent down to them; wherein they have made some Amendments, and desire their Lordships Concurrence therein.

2. The Bill concerning the Marquis of Winton; to which they agree, without any Alterations.

3. "An Act for the settling certain Lands, belonging unto Francis Tindall Gentleman, upon Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of Debts;" wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

D. of Richmond's Bill.

Then the Amendments in the Bill concerning the Duke of Richmond were read Twice, and Agreed to.

Message to H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Justinian Lewin and Sir Toby Wolridge:

To deliver to them the Bill concerning the Lord Viscount Campden, and to desire their Concurrence therein.

E. of Thanet's Title in Mylward's Bill.

The Earl of Dorsett reported to the House, "That the Committee have examined the Title of the Earl of Thanett in the Bill concerning Mr. Mylward; and it is found to be according to his Patent."

Wherewith the House was satisfied, and ordered the Bill should be read the Third Time.

Bill to settle an additional Revenue on the King.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for establishing an additional Revenue upon His Majesty, His Heirs and Successors, for the better Support of His and Their Crown and Dignity."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

King's Proviso to the Bill for Uniformity of Worship.

Next, the House took into Consideration the Matter in the King's Proviso to the Bill for Uniformity of Worship.

And the Proviso was read again, and debated.

And there being another Proviso offered to the House, which was read;

The Question being put, "Whether this Proviso shall be rejected ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Bill for Uniformity is re-committed; also the Proviso sent from the King is referred to the Consideration of the same Committee, who are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon; and the Duke of Richmond is added to the said Committee.

Harding versus Pight, in Error.

ORDERED, That Harding, Plaintiff in a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Peight is Defendant, shall assign his Errors peremptorily within Eight Days next after this Order shall be served upon him or his Attorney in this Cause; or otherwise the said Plaintiff shall lose his Writ, and that the Defendant shall go without Day, and the Record shall be remitted, that Execution may be taken out according to Course, the said Writ of Error notwithstanding.

Crouch versus Atkinson, in Error.

ORDERED, That the Errors between Crouch Plaintiff and Atkinson Defendant be argued, at this Bar, by Counsel on both Sides, on Monday the 24th of March Instant, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning, whereof the Plaintiff or his Attorney is to have timely Notice by the said Defendant: And then both Parties are to come prepared, with their Counsel, to attend the said Argument accordingly.

Adjourn.
