Harding versus Pight, in Error.
ORDERED, That the Cause between Harding Plaintiff
and Pight Defendant, upon a Writ of Error depending
in this House, shall be argued, by Counsel on both
Sides, at this Bar, on Saturday the 19th of this Instant
April, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning; whereof
the Defendant or his Attorney are to give Notice timely
to the Plaintiff or his Attorney; and then bóth Parties
are to attend the said Argument accordingly.
Hoskin versus Yates, in Error.
ORDERED, That the Cause between Hoskins Plaintiff
and Yates Defendant, upon a Writ of Error depending
in this House, shall be argued, by Counsel on both
Sides, at this Bar, on Saturday the Nineteenth of this
Instant April, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning;
whereof the Defendant or his Attorney are to give
timely Notice to the Plaintiff or his Attorney; and then
both Parties are to attend the said Argument accordingly.
Message from H. C. with Bills.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by William Mountague Esquire and others; who brought
up these Bills:
1. "An Act to restrain the Exportation of Leather,
and Raw Hides out of the Realm of England;" to
which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.
2. "An Act to enable the Bishop of London to
make Leases of the Houses which are built upon
the Site of his Palace;" which, being formerly sent
down, is now returned with some Alterations and a
Proviso, to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.
The said Alterations and Proviso, being read Thrice,
were Agreed to.
Butter Bill.
The Lord Berkley of Berkley reported, "That the
Committee have considered of the Bill for reforming
Abuses in the false Packing of Butter; and are of
Opinion, That it be passed as it is, without any
Amendment."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Militia Bill.
The House was adjourned into a Committee during
Pleasure, to take into further Consideration the Bill for
settling the Forces of this Kingdom; and, after some
Debate, the House was resumed; and ORDERED, That
the further Debate of this Business shall be resumed
To-morrow Morning.
Marq. of Winton's Bill.
ORDERED, That the Committee for the Marquis of
Winton's Bill, being now sine Die, shall meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
Order for quieting Lord Crofts's Possessions in Wembury, Plymton, &c.
The House was this Day informed, "That the Lord
Crofts, a Peer of this Realm, and Member of Parliament, hath the Possession of his Manors and Lands,
called Wembury, Plymton, Yampton, and Plymouth, in
the County of Devon, which he holdeth in the Right
of his Lady, disquieted and molested by some Persons,
by making of Entries upon the said Lands, and forbidding the Tenants to pay any more Rents unto the
said Lord Crofts, or to his or his Lady's Use, contrary
to the Privilege of the Peerage of this Realm:"
It is ORDERED, That all Persons whatsoever shall
hereafter forbear to trouble, molest, or disturb, the
quiet and peaceable Possession of the said Lord Crofts,
in any of the Manors, Lands, or Premises, or any other
Manors or Lands whereof he standeth seised in the
Right of his Lady, by making of Entries, or by forbidding his Tenants, or any of them, to pay their
Rents to the Use of the said Lord Crofts or his Lady,
or by any other Means; and hereof all Persons any
Way concerned, are to take Notice, and yield Obedience hereunto, as the contrary will be answered to
this House.
