Bill concerningtheKing's Power in Ecclesiastical Affairs.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Grand Committee, to consider of the Bill concerning His Majesty's Power in Ecclesiastical Affairs.

And the Lord Chamberlain of the Household took the Chair, as formerly he had done.

And, after long Debate, the House was resumed.

Sheircliff to be attached, for a Protection counterfeited from Ld. Hunsdon to him.

The House being this Day informed, by the Lord Hunsdon, "That one had counterfeited his Hand and Seal to a Protection, which was thereby pretended to be granted to Thomas Sheircliffe, which is entered and allowed in The Poultry Counter:"

It is ORDERED, &c. That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, shall attach the Body of the said Sheircliffe, and forthwith bring him before their Lordships, to answer his high Contempt against this House, touching the said forged Protection: And this to be a sufficient Warrant in that Behalf.

To the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy.

Adjourn.
