Upon reading the Petition of George Cooke, Danyell Higgeson, John Kempe, John Kendall, and Hugh Whight, Delinquents, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for arresting Thomas Chamberlen, menial Servant to the Lord Holles, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, desiring to be released:

Upon some Debate thereof, it is ORDERED, That this House will resume the Consideration of this Business on Wednesday Morning next.

Bill for making Rivers navigable in Surry, Sussex, and Hants.

Upon Report of the Earl of Dorsett, from the Committee appointed to consider of the Bill for making Rivers navigable, in the Counties of Surrey, Sussex, and South'ton, "That their Lordships, finding some Difficulty in the proceeding of the said Bill in relation to Matter of Title, do think it worthy of the House to be heard by Counsel at this Bar:"

Counsel to be heard concerning the River Wye.

It is therefore ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Counsel and Witnesses on both Sides shall be heard, at this Bar, on Tuesday the Second Day of June next, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, concerning the Matter relating to the River of Wye only in the said Bill mentioned; at which Time all Parties concerned are, with their Counsel and Witnesses, to attend the said Hearing accordingly.
