Their Lordships, or any Five; to meet on Tuesday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings.

E. of Middlesex's Petition, to be freed from his Restraint.

A Petition was presented to the House from the Earl of Middlesex; which was read, as follows:

"To the Right Honourable the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled in the High Court of Parliament.

"The humble Petition of Lyonell Earl of Middlesex;

"Humbly sheweth,

"That your Petitioner hath, ever since he fell into the Displeasure of this Honourable House, been highly afflicted, that he should upon any Account whatsoever deserve to be separated from that House of which he hath the Honour to be a Member.

"That your Petitioner doth in all Humility acknowledge his Offences, and your Justice in all that you have ordered concerning him.

"May it therefore please your Lordships, to take it into your most Honourable Considerations the deep Sense your Petitioner hath, that he hath justly deserved the Displeasure of your Lordships; and doth most humbly implore the Grace and Favour of this Honourable House, in pardoning his Faults, and restoring him to their good Opinion, and the Effects of it.

"And your Petitioner, &c.

"Middlesex."

Upon this, the House took into Consideration the Business between the Earl of Bridgwater and the Earl of Midd. as it now lies before their Lordships, that so they may proceed to Judgement therein.

Then the House commanded the Letter of the Earl of Midd. sent to the Earl of Bridgwater to be read.

And, after a long Debate of the Business,

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall be now adjourned?"

And it was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Adjourn.

Dominus Cancellarius declaravit præsens Parliamentum continuandum esse usque in diem crastinum, videlicet, 26um diem instantis Junii, hora decima Aurora, Dominis sic decernentibus.
