Committee for Highways, &c.

ORDERED, That the Committee for considering of putting into Execution the Bill concerning mending Highways and Streets do meet on Monday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock.

Lord Byron's Bill.

The Lord Howard of Charlton reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Proviso offered to be added to the Lord Byron's Bill; and the same is consented to by all Parties and Creditors concerned therein."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for supplying the Loss of certain Evidences in the Time of the late Troubles, belonging to the Estate of Richard Lord Byron."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Proviso added to it, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Everard Knight, and others; who brought up Two Bills, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired:

1. "An Act for naturalizing of Dame Elizabeth Jacob and others."

2. "An Act for confirming an Act, for naturalizing of Peter de la Pierre, alias Peters, and John de la Pierre, alias Peters."

Bill to prevent Butchers selling fat Cattle alive.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill concerning the Lord Marquis of Winton and the Lord St. John his Son, and the Committee concerning the Business between the Lord of Abergaveny and the Lady Dowager of Abergaveny, are adjourned until Tuesday next in the Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
