vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for
enabling Lionel Earl of Orrery in the Kingdom of
Ireland, by Sale of certain Lands and Tenements, to
raise Money, for Payment of his Debts, and settle
other Lands to the Uses and Purposes in this Act
mentioned."
Commissioners to take Accompts, Bill.
Hodie 2a
vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act
for reviving and continuing an Act, intituled, An
Act for the appointing Commissioners to take, examine, and determine, the Debts due to the Army,
Navy, and for Transport Service; and also an Account of the Prizes taken during the late War."
ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a
Committee of the whole House, presently.
Colonel Leighton, Address in Behalf of, in relation to a Debt due to him.
The House being moved, "That a Clause might
be added to the Bill appointing Commissioners, to
take, examine, and determine, the Debts due to the
Army," on the Behalf of Colonel Baldwin Leighton,
in relation to a Debt due to him:
Their Lordships, being unwilling to retard the said
Bill by adding any Clause thereto, appointed the
Lords following to be a Committee, to draw an
Address, to be presented to His Majesty, on the said
Colonel's Behalf, pursuant to the Debate of the
House, and report to the House:

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and
put into a Committee upon the Bill of Accompts.
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Viscount Longueville reported, "That
the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and
think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."
To which the House agreed.
ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Third
Time To-morrow Morning.
