Lords take the Oaths.

This Day Charles Duke of Somerset, Lord President, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute 25° Caroli Secundi; and also took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same, and signed the Association.

Richard Lord Bishop of Bath and Wells took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute; and also took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same.

Other Earl of Plimouth this Day took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same.

Whitby Piers Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the re-building and repairing the Piers of the Town and Port of Whitby, in the County of York."

Colonel Luttrell's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Colonel Henry Luttrel, with relation to the forfeited Estates in Ireland."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, Tomorrow, at Eleven a Clock; and that the Trustees for the forfeited Estates in Ireland do then attend, and bring with them the Petition to them referred in this Case, and their Report thereupon.

Sudbury Workhouses, &c. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for erecting Hospitals and Workhouses within the Town of Sudbury, in the County of Suffolk, for the better employing and maintaining the Poor thereof."

E. Exeter's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Sale of certain Manors and Lands of John late Earl of Exeter, for Payment of the Debts and Performance of the Will of the said Earl."

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Conyers and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting an Aid to Her Majesty, by divers Subsidies and a Land Tax;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Sydenliam versus Michelli

After hearing Counsel upon the Petition and Appeal of William Sydenham Esquire, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighteenth Day of November One Thousand Seven Hundred and One, on the Behalf of Doyly Michel and Anne his Wife; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree, so far as the same concerns the Respondents Claims to a Benefit Ticket, and the Relief decreed them concerning the same; as also upon the Answer of the said Doyly Michel and Anne his Wife put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of William Sydenham shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Adjourn.
