This Day Edward Lord Bishop of St. Asaph took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Richard Richmond and Peter De Lannoy, from an Order made in the Court of Chancery, the Eighth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and One; and Part of another Order, of the Fifteenth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Two, and the Decree and Proceedings enrolled thereupon; and praying "the said Orders and Decree may be reversed; and that the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of the City of London, and Gabriel Glover and others, Defendants in the Court below, may answer thereunto:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of the City of London, Gabriel Glover, Richard Bowater Junior, William Monson, Urban Hall, John Houghton, John Crichton, Joseph Cope, Charles Blunt, John Blunt, Joseph Taylor, John Tyrack, and Robert Aldersea, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer or Answers thereunto in Writing, on Wednesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Upon reading the Petition of Daniel Thomas Esquire, and John Draper Gentleman, (Trustees of the Estate of John Loane Esquire, deceased) and of Mary Loane Widow, Grandmother and Guardian of Mehora and Mary Loane, Infants, Daughters and Coheirs of the said John Loane; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the better Execution of the Will of the said John Loane, for Sale of Part of his Estate, to pay his Debts and Legacies:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, as desired.

Haberdashers Company versus Att. General.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of the Master and Four Wardens of the Company of Haberdashers, London, from an Order of the Court of Chancery, the Thirteenth Day of December last, on the Behalf of Her Majesty's Attorney General, at the Relation as well of the Inhabitants of the Parish of Newland, in the County of Gloucester, and the Poor thereof, as of the Poor of the Hospital or Almshouse there, founded by William Jones, deceased, and Humphry Jordan; and praying the Reversal of the said Order; and the Petitioners relieved, touching the Taxes, Repairs, Almshouses, and Costs, as in the Appeal is set forth:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Her Majesty's Attorney General, the Inhabitants of Newland, and the Poor thereof, as also the Poor of the Hospital or Almshouse founded by William Jones and Humphry Jordan, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer or Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Wednesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Messages, Lands, and Hereditaments, of Toby Hodson the Elder, Esquire, a Lunatic, in Trustees, for Payment of his Debts, and making Provision for himself, his Wife, and only Son."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of Part of the Estate late of William Peachy Esquire, deceased, for the Payment of Legacies charged thereupon," is committed; who are to meet at the same Time and Place.
