The Earl of Rochester reported, from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Explanation of a Clause in One Act, made in the Seventh Year of His late Majesty's Reign, relating to Borelaps, and to take off the additional Subsidy upon Irish Linen," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Explanation of a Clause in One Act, made in the Seventh Year of His late Majesty's Reign, relating to Borelaps, and to take off the additional Subsidy upon Irish Linen."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, The Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Hoare's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable the Executrix of James Hoare Esquire, deceased, to pay a Sum of Money, in Discharge of a Trust in her reposed by his Will.

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Sands versus Shaw & al. in Error.

Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Sands Merchant; shewing, "That, on the Ninth of this Instant January, he brought a Writ of Error into this House from the Exchequer, and hath assigned Errors thereon; but the Defendants, Sir John Shaw Baronet, Will'm Waterson, and Charles Towers, delay joining Issue:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Defendants shall join Issue thereupon, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock.

L. Roseberie versus Taylor.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition of Elizabeth Taylor, One of the Respondents to the Appeal of Archibald Primrose Lord Viscount Roseberie, and Dorothy his Wife, now depending in this House:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Fifth Day of February next, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Parker versus Burroughs.

After hearing Counsel this Day, upon the Petition and Appeal of Anthony Parker:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear Counsel for Humphry Burroughs Respondent To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock; and that the Cause appointed for To-morrow, and all other Causes, be removed, to come on in Course.
