Ivye versus Ashe:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of St. John Ivye, from an Order or Decree, made the Sixteenth Day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Two, in the Court of Chancery, in a Cause there depending, between the said St. John Ivye Plaintiff, and Edward Ashe Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Order or Decree; as also upon the Answer of the said Edward Ashe put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of St. John Ivye shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Order or Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Dent versus Sir W. Buck:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Dent Doctor in Divinity, from a Decretal Order made in the Court of Exchequer, the Sixth Day of July last past, appointing a Trial at Law, upon this Issue, "Whether there be a Modus of Twenty Shillings a Year payable to the Vicar of Lenton, in Lieu of the Tithes of Hanby Grange, and the Lands thereunto belonging, or not?" And, Whether Grange Lease be Part of Hanby Grange?" and praying, "That the said Order may be set aside and reversed; and the Value of the Tithes decreed to the Appellant, according to the Defendant's Answers:" As also upon the Answer of Sir William Buck Baronet, William Walker alias Walcot, Edward Kitchen, John Young, Thomas Shepheard, Joseph Smith, John Garland, Timothy Lacy, Richard Rastal, and John Eagle, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Thomas Dent, Doctor in Divinity, shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decretal Order therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Peirson versus Miles:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of William Peirson Esquire, from a Decree and Dismission in the Court of Exchequer, the Seventh Day of July last past, on the Behalf of Thomas Miles and William Miles; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree; as also upon the Answer of the said Thomas Miles and William Miles put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of William Pierson Esquire shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and the Decree and Dismission therein complained of shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Admiralty Books, &c. returned.

ORDERED, That the Books and Journals received from the Admiralty shall be returned again.
