Ferrar's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable the Lord High Treasurer of England, or Commissioners of the Treasury for the Time being, to compound with John Ferrar Esquire, for a Debt due from him, as Surety for John Mason Gentleman, late Receiver General for the County of Cambridge and Isle of Ely."

L. Jermyn's Bill.

The Lord Lawarr reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for confirming and better Execution of Articles, and the Agreements therein contained, for the Disposition and Division of the Estate of the late Lord Jermyn among his Coheirs," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming and better Execution of Articles, and the Agreements therein contained, for the Disposition and Division of the Estate of the late Lord Jermyn among his Coheirs."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

E. of Orford's Answer to Observations of Commissioners of Accompts.

The House being informed, "That Mr. Copeland attended, with the Earl of Orford's Answer to the Observations of the Commissioners of Accompts;" he was called in; and, at the Bar, delivered,

"The Answers of the Earl of Orford (late Treasurer of the Navy) to the Observations made by the Honourable Commissioners of Accompts upon his Accompts of the Navy, exclusive of the Victual ing."

Keyt's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for settling the Manor of Creech, in the County of Somerset, in Trustees, to enable them to renew Leases, for the Maintenance of the Younger Sons of William Keyt Esquire, deceased, during their Minority."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Thursday the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Andrews's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to charge the Estate of Ambrose Andrews with Monies, for Payment of Debts; and for supplying some Defects in the Settlement of the said Estate, for making a Jointure and Leases upon the said Estate."

Philipson's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest Part of the Estate of Sir Christopher Phillipson Knight in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and for charging Part thereof with Maintenance for a Daughter, who is a Lunatic."

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Daniel Barber and others."

Evelyn's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable George Evelyn Esquire to raise Portions for his Brothers and Sisters, according to his Father's Will."

Causes removed.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Causes now appointed for Hearing shall be removed, to come on in Course.

Increase of Seamen, and manning the Navy, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the more regular and speedy manning the Royal Navy, and Increase of Seamen."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill, and made several Amendments therein; and that he was ready to report the same to the House."

ORDERED, That the Report of the said Bill be made To-morrow.

Messages from H. C. to return Worcester Workhouse Bill; and L. Grey of Wark's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Joseph Jekyl and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the erecting a Workhouse in the City of Worcester, and for setting the Poor on Work there;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to their Lordships Amendments made to the said Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Ogle and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for confirming the Execution of a certain Agreement, made between Ralph Lord Grey Baron of Werke, and Charles Lord Ossulstone and the Lady Mary his Wife, touching certain Manors, Lands, and Tenements, in the County of Northumberland, Middl'x, and City of London; and also between Lawrence Earl of Rochester and the said Lord Grey, concerning other Manors, Lands, and Tenements, in the said County of Northumberland, County Palatine of Durham, and Town of Berwick upon Tweed;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Then the House proceeded to take into Consideration the said Amendments.

Which, being read Thrice, were agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.

Prysick versus Vigures.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Christopher Prissick and James Odes are Appellants, and Robert Vigures Respondent:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Thirteenth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Moore to attend.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. John Moore do attend this House To-morrow, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, as a Witness on the Behalf of the Right Honourable Ralph Earl Montagu.
