Upon reading the Petition of Elizabeth Head and
Sarah Adderley, Respondents to the Appeal of Edward
Strode; shewing, "That they have put in their Answer thereunto; and praying a short Day for hearing; and that the Appellant do produce, at the Hearing, the Deed of the Seven and Twentieth of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-three."
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will
hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant November, at
Eleven a Clock; and that the said Edward Strode do
produce, at the said Hearing, the Deed of the Seven
and Twentieth of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-three, which was produced and read at the
Hearing of the Cause in the Exchequer.

Upon reading the Petitions of George Brewster,
James Devereux, and John Parkes, then in Custody
of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for a
Breach of the Privilege of the Duke of Devonshire

their great Sorrow for their Offence; and praying to be

by Order of the House, reprimanded by the Lord
It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
George Brewster, James Devereux, and John Parkes,
shall be, and they are hereby, discharged, paying their
Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that
