States General, Quota of Ships.

ORDERED, That the Paper, intituled, "An Account of Quotas of Ships furnished by The States General last Summer," shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Books and Papers delivered into this House from the Admiralty-office, the Eight Instant, by Mr. Burchett.

Union, England and Scotland, Bill.

The House (pursuant to Order Yesterday) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act relating to an Union and good Correspondence with the Kingdom of Scotland."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Sunderland reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

W. Ford versus Reginam, in Error:

Upon reading the Petition of William Weedon Ford, of Lincolne's Inn, Gentleman, late Warden of The Fleet; shewing, "That he having brought a Writ of Error into this House, to reverse a Judgement given in the Court of Queen's Bench for Her Majesty; and he not insisting upon the Errors assigned upon the said Writ of Error, but praying the Affirmation of the said Judgement:"

Judgement affirmed.

It is thereupon ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Judgement shall be, and is hereby, affirmed; and that the Record be remitted, to the End Execution may issue thereupon, as if no such Writ of Error had been brought into this House.

The Tenor of which Judgement, to be affixed to the Record to be remitted, followeth; (videlicet,)

Adjourn.
