Lockhart's Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable James Lockhart Esquire and his Wife to sell certain Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, in the County of Essex, late of Sir Thomas Luckin Baronet, deceased, for Payment of their Debts; and to purchase other Lands with the Overplus of the Money, to be settled to the like Uses," as sit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Prinn versus Howe, in Error.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for all the Judges to attend, to inform the House what they find relating to the Matter debated at the Bar the Fifteenth Instant, in the Case upon the Writ of Error, wherein John Prinn is Plaintiff, and John Howe Esquire Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Judges have further Time, to consider of Precedents in this Case, until Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock; and that the Records of the Precedents they shall cite be then brought to the House.

Importation of French Goods, Bill to prohibit.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Judges do prepare, and bring, in a Bill, to prohibit the Importation of all Goods and Commodities of the Growth or Manufacture of France, and the Dominions thereunto belonging, during this present War.
