Horner versus Hilliard:

Upon reading the Petition of George Horner Esquire, and George Twyford a Minor, Appellants, against William Hilliard and others Respondents; shewing, "That the Petitioner George Horner was prevailed upon to have his Name used, as next Friend to the Minor, in a Suit in Chancery in this Cause, which Suit was dismissed with Costs; which are since taxed there at Eight Hundred and Eighteen Pounds, and upwards: The Petitioner appealed from the said Dismission to this House, and therein complained against the Right of the Costs, and the Quantum of them; which Appeal being heard, and the Dismission affirmed, the Petitioner humbly conceived, the House made no Order as to Costs, though complained of in the Appeal; but, by the Dismission of the Appeal, and affirming the Order of Chancery, the Costs are confirmed, and the Chancery cannot re-tax the same; and praying to to have the Costs moderated, or to give Directions therein:"

Petition rejected.

After due Consideration thereof, it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of George Horner and George Twyford shall be, and is hereby, rejected.

Upon reading the Petition of John Renners and others; praying, "That they may be added to a Bill of Naturalization:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners may be added to a Bill of Naturalization, as desired.

Worsopp's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees the Estate late of Sir Thomas Worsopp Knight, and Thomas Worsopp Esquire, his Son, deceased, in Finsbury Fields, or Moor Fields, in the Parish of Shoreditch, in the County of Middl'x, to be sold, for the Payment of Debts and Legacies; and, with the Overplus of the Money remaining, to be laid out for the purchasing of Messuages, Lands, Tenements, or Hereditaments of Inheritance, in the Kingdom of Ireland, to be settled as in the Act is particularly mentioned."

Sir Peter Tyrril's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to make some Alterations and Amendments in an Act of Parliament obtained the last Session, by Sir Peter Tyrril, and Thomas Tyrrill his Son, in order to enable them to sell several Lands, in Hanslopp and Castlethropp, in the County of Bucks, which were settled upon the Marriage of the said Thomas Tyrril and Dorothy his Wife; and to settle other Lands in Lieu thereof."
