The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of several Manors and Lands, in the Counties of Hereford, Radnor, and Brecon, for the Payment of the Debts of Richard and Thomas Williams, late of Cabalva, in the County of Radnor, Esquires, deceased," as sit to pass, without any Amendment.

Pechels & al. Nat. Bill.

The Earl of Stamford also reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Jacob Pechels, Elias Landes, Francis Lacroix, and others," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by the Lord Wm. Pawlet and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to empower the Lord High Treasurer, or Commissioners of the Treasury, to compound with Sir Michael Biddulph Baronet, as he was One of the Sureties for Morgan Whitley Esquire, Receiver General for the Counties of Chester and North Wales;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Worsopp's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees the Estate late of Sir Thomas Worsopp Knight, and Thomas Worsopp Esquire, his Son, deceased, in Finsbury Fields, or Moor Fields, in the Parish of Shoreditch, in the County of Middl'x, to be sold, for the Payment of Debts and Legacies; and, with the Overplus of the Money remaining, to be laid out for the purchasing of Messuages, Lands, Tenements, or Hereditaments of Inheritance, in the Kingdom of Ireland, to be settled as in the Act is particularly mentioned."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Augmentation of the Vicarage of Gainsborough, in the County of Lincoln," stands committed: Who are to meet on Wednesday the Seventh Day of February next, at the same Time-and Place.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Edmond Waller Esquire to charge his Estate (not settled upon his Wife in Jointure) with a Sum of Money, for Payment of his Debts;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Huddleston versus Todhunter.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Andrew Huddlestone Esquire, from a Decree of the Master of the Rolls, made the Twenty-fifth Day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Three, and the Confirmation thereof by the Lord Keeper the Twenty-fifth Day of October last, on the Behalf of William Todhunter and others, Tenants of the Manor of HuttonJohn, in the County of Cumberland; as also upon the Answer of William Todbunter, and other the Tenants of the said Manor, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed, with Costs.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Andrew Huddlestone shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree of the Master of the Rolls, and the Confirmation thereof by the Lord Keeper, complained of in the said Appeal, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the said Andrew Huddleston shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Will'm Todhunter, and other Respondents, the Sum of Ten Pounds, for their Costs in defending the said Suit in this House.

Queen's Answer, about stopping the Ship New Judith.

The Lord Steward reported, "That he had attended Her Majesty, with the Address for stopping the Ship called The New Judith; and that Her Majesty was pleased to say, "She would give Order for stopping the said Ship, as desired;" and the Ship is accordingly stopped."
